SOULFLY Bassist Released From Hospital
September 16, 2006SOULFLY's official web site has been updated with the following message:
"Last week, one of our own, Bobby Burns [SOULFLY bassist] suffered a mild stroke and was immediately hospitalized. He was ordered to remain under the care of a doctor until he was fully recovered, and although we are happy to report that he has already been released from the hospital, we are extremely sad that he will not be able to play bass on SOULFLY's upcoming U.S. tour (which begins on September 18th in San Diego). No one has been confirmed to fill in on bass for him yet, but as soon as the announcement is made, it will be posted here. Please send Bobby your well-wishes and regards at [email protected] or at his MySpace page."
SOULFLY is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Dark Ages", available now on Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy" was produced by mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.
